Oliver is a member of McKinsey´s manufacturing practice in Germany. He has extensive experience leading various projects within the automotive, airline, manufacturing, consumer goods and pharmaceuticals industries. Before working at McKinsey & Company, Oliver worked for DaimlerChrysler and Arthur D. Little in the fields of procurement, manufacturing and supply chain management.

Oliver started out as founding partner of a small consulting company that specialized in electronic commerce and logistics in Los Angeles. Oliver holds a M.Sc. in Industrial Engineering from the Technical University of Berlin. In 1995 he received his MBA from the Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées.
