Library Services
The ENPC MBA library, situated next to the main MBA classroom, is a shared facility with the MAP (Mastère d’Action Publique) Department of l’Ecole des Ponts. This facility houses textbooks, reports, dictionaries, reference books, online periodicals, electronic databases, magazines and print periodicals (approximately 20 subscriptions).
The library is organized by thematic classification. The classification system is posted in the library to facilitate document location. Two workstations are made available to the students to search the MAP & MBA joint-library, the main library of the ENPC, on-line resources and general Internet-based resources.
Ms. Christiane Madeline is in charge of the joint MAP-MBA library. She is available to guide students in accessing materials (both printed and on-line), in conducting resource searches, and in answering any research-related questions.
The library opening hours are:
- Monday: 14:30 – 18:00
- Tuesday: 9:30 – 13:00 and 14:00 – 18:00
- Wednesday: 10:30 – 13:00 and 14:00 – 19:30
- Thursday: 9:30 – 13:00 and 14:000 – 18:00
- Friday: 9:30 – 13:00
Students also have access to over 9,000 titles online. These online resources include the Science Direct service for journals and papers and the Factura news service for daily coverage of over 10,000 international newspapers. In addition, students can access the ABI/Inform Proquest Global service which covers over 2,200 current sources and provides full-text coverage of 1,200 management and business journals.
Finally, students are provided access to two external libraries – the ENPC library located on the main campus at Champs-sur-Marne and the Sciences-Po (Institut des Sciences Politiques) library located just a few minutes walk from the School.
