The next session for the MBA in International Business (full and part-time) begins September 1st, 2008
The ENPC School of International Management has rolling admissions, accepting applications on an on-going basis through the summer prior to the start of each academic year in the fall.
A total of
40 seats are available for the MBA in International Business and MBA in Technology & Entrepreneurship programs, full-time and part-time combined. One out of every three candidates is usually selected.
The admissions process has
4 stages:
Stage 1: Getting to know the School
In order for you to find out if the MBA in International Business is the right MBA program for you, we invite you (if possible):
• to visit the School for an internal interview,
• to attend one of our monthly information sessions, or
• to sit in on a course for up to two days.
Please contact
Keyvan Ghandchi at our Admissions Office in order to arrange for a visit at the ENPC School of International Management.
Stage 2: Application
If you are convinced that the MBA in International Business is the right MBA program for you, we will be happy to receive your application. An application includes:
• A completed Admissions Application Form (which can be downloaded
here)
• Curriculum Vitae
• Copies of transcripts and degree certificates
(in either French or English of all university-level studies)
• 2 letters of recommendation
• 3 Essays
• 4 passport-size photos (professional attire)
• Copy of your passport or other ID document
• 100 € application fee (cheque or wire transfer)
We prefer to receive complete application files. Nevertheless, if for any reason you are not able to provide all documents at a time, please contact us to discuss your case.
Stage 3: Personal Assessment
Once the application file has been received, the Admissions Office will review the application and, within 5 working days, based on the details submitted, either invite the applicant to an admissions test and admissions interviews at the School or decline the application. Successful applicants will be invited to attend a
half-day assessment session held at the School in Saint-Germain des Prés in Paris.
During that session, the candidate will undertake
two short tests (a duration of approximately one hour for each) to assess both numerical and quantitative reasoning skills as well as analytical and writing abilities. All tests will be conducted in English. Each candidate will also be interviewed by two representatives of the School to discuss their motivation for undertaking the program. The
interviews will be conducted in English and will last around one hour.
Alternatively, candidates can also do the GMAT and - if applicable - a TOEFL (or TOEIC, IELTS or CPE). For successful candidates with a GMAT of above 550, the internal tests will be waived, and these candidates will be invited to admissions interviews directly. Further information on the GMAT and the TOEFL can be obtained
here.
Stage 4: Final Decision
The final decision will be based on ALL of the elements in the candidate´s file. The Selection Committee will determine whether or not there is a logical match between the ENPC´s philosophy and structure and the candidate´s motivation for wanting to do an MBA, in light of his/her professional and personal objectives, strengths, personality and ability to contribute to the overall composition of the MBA class.
This final evaluation usually lasts one week following the interview stage. Depending upon your availability for interviews, the complete admissions process lasts, on average, up to four weeks starting from the moment we receive your complete application package.
