Dr. Suman Modwel is the Emeritus Professor of Business Policy at the ENPC School of International Management, Paris. He is also the International Dean of the ENPC MBA at New Delhi, India. Formerly in the Indian Administrative Service of India where he had the priveleged opportunity of participating in the development process of his country both at the district and national policy making levels, especially in the international trade policy area as Director General of the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade and as Chairman of a very large public sector conglomerate (50000 employees) in the textile sector.

Suman Modwel holds a Ph.D from the Institut d'Etudes Politiques, Paris (Sciences Po), with "habilitation nationale" to supervise doctoral research in sciences économiques, and an MSc in Mathematics from Allahabad University, India. Prior and subsequent research works and publications are in the area of international economics and trade. His responsibilities include teaching in the areas of international economics, strategic marketing and trade policy. His publications include more than 30 diverse books, papers, cases and articles in the above mentioned areas.
He is attached to the Groupe d'Economie Mondial at the Sciences Po, Paris as a Visiting Research Fellow and is also guiding doctoral research there. He is a Visiting Professor at the IIT, New Delhi, the ENPC MBA at the Ecole Hasania, Casablanca, the MBA at Abu Dhabi University, and at the ENPC MBA at Tongji University, Shanghai. He is a member of the Conseil de Surveillance of MIB Développement and of the Board of Governors of the Maison d'Inde, Cité Université, Paris
