The ENPC School of International Management has been proudly offering a certificate in International Management (cIM) for more than a decade, a program which is specially designed to fit ParisTech engineering students schedules and to offer participants a unique and in-depth introduction to management in a mini-MBA format.
Like an MBA, classes are interactive in nature, based on case studies, group work and readings of modern business practice. All courses are taught by a cadre of renowned international professors and all courses are strictly in English. Note: most schools accept cIM classes as part of the English course requirements for an engineering degree.
The cIM program has been specially designed to introduce participants to the Fundamentals of Management (Finance, Accounting, Marketing, Operations Management, Managing People and Organizations) and to complement French engineering curricula. In addition to the core curriculum in Management students can choose from two specializations: Technology & Entrepreneurship or International Management.
The program is completed with a final trans-disciplinary business simulation course to apply program learnings and ensure assimilation of key concepts and practices.
This 10-month program, held one weekend per month, accepts approximately 50 ParisTech students per year and is now accepting up to 10 students from other schools in France and Europe.

"I wanted to write you an email in order to thank you for this year’s classes, telling you that I have really enjoyed the program and that it has given me really efficient tools in order to have a better understanding about the world that is surrounding us. So thank you again for letting me into the program and providing us with high quality courses and professors. I liked it so much that I am actually doing my one year internship in an architecture/engineering company in the strategic planning department: for the first six months, I am being trained with the strategic tools of the company (finance, planning, management, programming...), and the six following months they will send me to Bogota in order to manage the development of the company in South America along with the Director that is already out there. What a gap between this and civil engineering! Isn't it?" W. Squier, Ecole des Ponts ParisTech, cIM 2009-2010 |
