The journey continues for the ENPC MBA!

CEO Magazine, January 2012. Alexandra Skinner reports Tawfik Jelassi and Alon Rozen’s vision of the ENPC MBA Journey.

We invite you to discover all the destinations of this journey by reading this very interesting article by CEO magazine on the future of the ENPC MBA where the school’s new ventures and projects are brightly described.

Discover our two brand new academic offers: the MBA specialization in Enterprise RiskManagement launched in September 2011 in partnership with Ecole des Mines’ centre for Research on Risk and Crises; and ourExecutive MBA in Aviation Management in Beijing developed in partnership with Airbus, and the Ecole Nationale of Civil Aviation (ENAC)atTsinghua University.

In the words of our Assistant Dean: “we are quite excited about these programs … They are both part of our strategy to foster new corporate-academic partnerships for growth. ENPC has always had an entrepreneurial spirit of continually launching new ideas. There is always something in the works and that makes it an exciting place to work and be a part of.  The education market is changing so quickly that if you don’t constantly have developments in the pipeline, you can become outdated very quickly. We feel that we have a responsibility to keep innovating.”

The article draws a very clear picture of ENPC MBA programs, curricula, partnership development, admissions as well as the human dimension that our candidates and participants encounter both on campus and via or new social media initiatives.

« Masters, mastères, MBA: Cap sur l’emploi?»

Le Parisien Economie, 12thDecember 2011. Dean Tawfik Jelassi is quoted in the article « Masters, mastères, MBA: La meilleure arme anti-crise?» written by the journalist Gilles Marchand. In this context of economic and financial crisis, the instability of the job market, the graduates and professionals still have a card to play, thanks to the best top Management Schools. Identifying business opportunities and taking risk are quite unavoidable when managing a company and trying to sustain its business in a rapidly changing world. As such, risk management has always been an integral part of a manager’s remit. In order to provide these skills to high potential professionals, the ENPC School of International Management has introduced in its MBA program a new specialization track in “Enterprise Risk Management”.  “We have created this specialization – MBA in Enterprise Risk Management - as it really responds to an increasing demand from the companies, it has become a strategic issue” confirmed Dean Tawfik Jelassi.

« Les MBA cultivent leur niches »

L'Usine Nouvelle, 1st December 2011. In this article Cécile Maillard describes the latest trend in MBA world, i.e. the move from a generalist approach to a more specialized approach in order to better fit the requirements of employers and employees alike.
Dean Tawfik Jelassi, confirming this trend, declared "The offer must evolve towards specialized MBAs. The Ecole des Ponts launched its first MBA in 1987 as a generalist full-time MBA which fitted the needs of the market at that time. But in the early 2000s, the offer was so huge that MBA candidates were lost. In order to differentiate ourselves, we added specializations to target high potential candidates. We launched our MBA in Technology & Entrepreneurship in 2003, in which participants learn how to use and adapt their technical skills to business and management. As the market validated this trend, we later launched a Tri-Continent MBA and an Executive MBA".
