Chalom Schirman is Associate Professor at the Graduate School of International Management of the Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées (ENPC), Paris.
He is the ENPC MBA professor of International Business Negotiation.
Chalom Schirman is the International Dean of SIMBA (Shanghai International MBA) a joint MBA program between the ENPC-MBA and TongJi University in Shanghai.
He is Visiting Professor, teaching International Business Negotiation at Edinburgh University, Cujo University (Mendoza, Argentina), Kochi (India), Academy of Economics (Katowice, Poland), KPMG Executive MBA Program, Hassania School of Public Works (Casablanca, Morocco), ENPC MBA in Tokyo and the MBA Program of the Technion Institute (Haifa, Israel).
In parallel, Chalom Schirman is an International Consultant in strategy, international partnerships, trade agreements and Negotiation as well as a Founding Partner & Associate Director of Négociateurs Associés SCA - Paris, a training and consulting firm in Negotiation Techniques and Management. He is a regular trainer and coach in Negotiation for Executives at Collège Des Ingénieurs, EADS, Ecole de Guerre,. EDF, GDF, L’OREAL, Saint Gobain, Schlumberger, Thalès, The World Bank, etc.
Prior to that, Prof Schirman has been, for 17 years, an Israeli diplomat, first in charge of the Division of International Economic Intelligence (Center for Research and Planification, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Jerusalem) later as Counselor for Economic Affairs, Embassy of Israel, Paris and as the Israeli Representative at the Club de Paris, then as Deputy Director of the Division of Economic Relations and Coordinator of Training Programs in International Economic Relations at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Jerusalem and, finally, Consul General of Israel in Montreal.
Born in Belgium, Chalom Schirman graduated in Economics and International Relations from the Université Libre de Bruxelles and Harvard University ; he is an ENPC-MBA Alumnus (class of 91) and was President of the ENPC-MBA Alumni Association (95-97).
Chalom Schirman has published several articles and Case Studies on Negotiation Techniques as well as a Monograph on The Impact of the Arab Boycott (Shiloach Institute, University of Tel Aviv) and a Guidebook on International Economic Relations for Diplomats (MFA, Jerusalem).
